MagicTax is a tax-tech startup based in Seoul, Korea, founded on hands-on experience in accounting and tax practice. Our mission is to solve the inefficiencies we faced every day with technology.
We build on state-of-the-art large language models, including Anthropic's Claude, for document understanding, transaction classification, and tax Q&A.
Does MagicTax file my taxes for me?
MagicTax prepares everything you need — categorized books, summaries, and checklists — but you or your tax advisor always review and submit the final return.
Which taxes does it support?
We're starting with Korean value-added tax (부가가치세), comprehensive income tax (종합소득세), and withholding tax (원천세). More will follow based on user feedback.
Is my financial data safe?
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, access is strictly limited, and your data is never used to train public AI models.
Can accounting firms use MagicTax?
Yes. Tax professionals are a core audience, and multi-client firm features are on our roadmap. We'd love to talk with firms interested in shaping the product.
